🍽 WHAT KITCHEN ESSENTIALS ARE PROVIDED?
Each Sunridge retreat is fully equipped for a luxury self-catering holiday with modern kitchen appliances and essentials. Here’s what’s available in each retreat:
✔ Sunridge Lodge & Sunridge Geodome. Both feature a full-sized oven, microwave, hob, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine and fridge-freezer. The Geodome also includes a wine cooler and washing machine, while the Lodge also has a washing machine.
✔ Sunridge Treehouse. Fully equipped with a fan oven, gas hob, fridge-freezer, integrated microwave, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee maker, washing machine and tumble dryer. Also includes a Ninja Air Fryer for extra cooking flexibility.
✔ Sunridge Cubes & Sunridge EcoPod. Both include a gas hob, integrated electric oven, under-counter fridge and Nespresso coffee machine. The Cubes also have a slimline dishwasher. Neither the Cubes nor EcoPod has a microwave, and the EcoPod fridge has no freezer compartment.
✔ All retreats come fully stocked with essential cookware, including pots, pans, utensils, cutlery, plates, glasses, chopping boards, knives, cooking utensils and tea towels. A small starter pack of salt, pepper, tea bags, coffee pods and UHT milk sachets is also provided. If you require specific kitchen items, feel free to bring them with you.
🏡 HOW MANY GUESTS CAN EACH RETREAT ACCOMMODATE?
✔ Sunridge Geodome. Base price includes 2 guests, with the option to add up to 3 additional guests, accommodating a maximum of 5 guests in total. Additional nightly guest charges apply. The mezzanine provides additional sleeping space, and a single airbed stored within the coffee-table chest is available for the 5th guest.
⚠️ Important bedding information for Geodome bookings: Bedding and bathroom towels are included for the main 2 guests only. Guests 3, 4 and 5 must either bring their own bedding and towels or add the required extra bedding/towel packs during the booking process. Adding extra guests to your booking does not automatically include their bedding, so please remember to select this separately if required.
✔ Sunridge Lodge. Base price includes 4 guests, with the option to add up to 2 additional guests (additional nightly fee applies). The Lodge can accommodate 5 guests inside using the optional floor bed, or 6 guests by using The Hub as additional sleeping space. Bedding can be provided as required during booking.
✔ Sunridge Cubes. Base price includes 2 guests, with up to 2 additional guests available for an extra nightly charge. Two self-inflating electric airbeds are provided for guests 3 and 4. Additional guests can bring their own bedding or add an Extra Guest Bedding Pack during booking.
✔ Sunridge EcoPod. Sleeps 2 guests only, or 2 adults with a baby at no extra charge. Bedding for the main double bed and bathroom towels for 2 guests are provided.
✔ Sunridge Treehouse. Currently not available for bookings. Typically sleeps up to 6 guests with 3 king-size bedrooms and a snuggery for extra guest sleeping.
Guests must declare the total number of guests when booking, as an additional nightly charge may apply for extra guests.
🧺 ARE BEDDING & TOWELS PROVIDED?
✔ Bedding and bathroom towels are provided as stated for each individual retreat and booking size.
✔ Bathroom towels supplied with your accommodation are for indoor use. Please bring your own older or larger towels for hot tub use, as chlorine can damage or discolour household towels.
✔ Where extra bedding or towels are required for additional guests, these should be selected during booking where available.
🐾 ARE PETS ALLOWED?
✔ Sunridge Geodome. 1 well-behaved dog welcome (pet fee applies).
✔ Sunridge EcoPod. 1 well-behaved dog welcome (pet fee applies).
✔ Sunridge Lodge & Sunridge Cubes. Up to 2 well-behaved dogs welcome (pet fee applies).
❌ Sunridge Treehouse. Not pet-friendly.
Guests should bring pet bedding, blankets and coverings to help protect furniture and soft furnishings. The wildlife lake is not suitable for dog swimming, but there are beautiful countryside walks nearby.
🔥 ARE BARBECUES OR OUTDOOR FIRES ALLOWED?
For fire safety, barbecues, disposable barbecues, campfires, firepits and other outdoor naked flames are not permitted anywhere on site.
The indoor log burner within Sunridge Lodge is the exception, but it must always be used responsibly and in accordance with the instructions provided. During periods of exceptionally dry weather, drought or elevated wildfire risk, use of the log burner may be temporarily restricted.
These fire-safety requirements are particularly important because Sunridge Retreats is surrounded by countryside, woodland and wildlife habitat.
🔥 WHAT IS PROVIDED FOR THE LODGE LOG BURNER?
✔ Logs are provided, together with some kindling/lighting wood and firelighters to get you started.
✔ Guests are welcome to bring additional firelighters or kindling if they think they may need more during their stay.
✔ The log burner must not be used if we advise that conditions are too dry or there is an elevated fire risk, including periods of drought or relevant government/fire-service warnings.
✔ Please keep the door closed when in use and follow the operating and fire-safety instructions provided within the Lodge.
🛁 WHAT ARE THE RULES FOR USING THE HOT TUBS?
✔ Private hot tubs are provided for guest enjoyment at the relevant retreats.
✔ Guests must follow all hot tub safety instructions, house rules and the full Terms & Conditions applicable to their booking.
✔ Children under 12 must not use the hot tubs.
✔ Guests are responsible for using the hot tub safely and appropriately and should not exceed the stated maximum occupancy.
✔ Please shower before use where possible and avoid introducing creams, oils, fake tan, food, drinks or other contaminants into the water.
✔ Glass must not be used in or immediately around the hot tub area.
✔ Please replace the hot tub cover after use and follow any instructions provided regarding temperature, controls and safe operation.
✔ Please bring your own older or larger towels specifically for hot tub use. Bathroom towels supplied with your accommodation should not be used in the hot tub due to chlorine.

🔇 WHAT ARE THE RULES REGARDING NOISE & MUSIC?
Sunridge Retreats is a peaceful countryside retreat and we ask all guests to be considerate of neighbouring guests, local residents and wildlife.
✔ Music, televisions and entertainment should be kept at a reasonable volume at all times.
✔ After 10pm, we ask guests to observe quiet hours and keep noise to an absolute minimum.
✔ Music should be contained within your accommodation and should not be played outside or around the hot tub, particularly during the evening, as sound travels very easily across the valley and countryside.
✔ Hot tubs can still be enjoyed during the evening, but conversations and general noise should be kept low.
✔ Parties, loud gatherings, amplified outdoor music and persistent excessive noise are not permitted.
If excessive noise is brought to our attention, guests may be contacted or approached and asked to reduce the volume immediately. Serious or repeated breaches of the noise rules may result in guests being required to leave the site in accordance with our booking Terms & Conditions.
📹 SITE SAFETY, CCTV & HOUSE RULES
CCTV is in operation on site for security, safety and site-management purposes.
We want everyone to enjoy a relaxed stay, but guests are expected to respect the accommodation, other guests, wildlife and the safety rules that apply across Sunridge Retreats.
Serious or repeated breaches of fire-safety rules, deliberate misuse of facilities, excessive noise or behaviour that puts other guests, staff, property or the surrounding countryside at risk will not be tolerated.
Where necessary, guests may be approached and asked to stop the behaviour immediately. In serious circumstances, or where reasonable requests are repeatedly ignored, guests may be required to leave the site without a refund, in accordance with our booking Terms & Conditions.
🌡 IS HEATING PROVIDED IN EVERY RETREAT?
✔ Sunridge Geodome. Gas central heating provides year-round warmth, with high-powered air conditioning for cooling during warmer weather.
✔ Sunridge Lodge. The main Lodge features underfloor heating and a log burner. Logs, some lighting wood and firelighters are provided to get you started; please bring extras if required. The separate Cinema Hub also has air conditioning and heating for year-round comfort. During exceptionally dry conditions, drought or periods of elevated wildfire risk, use of the Lodge log burner may be temporarily restricted.
✔ Sunridge Cubes & Sunridge EcoPod. Equipped with central heating for year-round comfort.
✔ Sunridge Treehouse. Though not currently bookable, it features underfloor heating and air conditioning in the master bedroom.

🎣 IS FISHING AVAILABLE AT THE WILDLIFE LAKE?
✔ We offer optional coarse fishing, mainly carp, for guests staying at Sunridge Lodge and Sunridge Geodome.
✔ Fishing must be booked in advance by adding a Fishing Pass during the booking process.
✔ Guests must bring their own sterilised rods and equipment. Barbless hooks only and no keepnets are allowed.
✔ All fish must be handled gently and returned safely to the water.
🔒 Carp are microchipped for stock tracking and security.
Please note: All anglers must hold a valid Environment Agency rod licence, available online or from the Post Office, before fishing.
⚠️ Important Fishing Disclaimer:
Our lake is stocked and carefully maintained, but nature can be unpredictable. In rare cases, fish numbers or visibility may be temporarily affected by natural factors such as otter activity.
If fishing conditions are seriously impacted, fishing ticket costs will be refunded.
Accommodation bookings, however, remain non-refundable, as fishing conditions are outside of our control.
Restocking fish, when needed, can only occur during the colder winter months, so occasional seasonal fluctuations may happen.

🎣 IS FISHING AVAILABLE AT THE WILDLIFE LAKE?
✔ We offer optional coarse fishing, mainly carp, for guests staying at Sunridge Lodge and Sunridge Geodome.
✔ Fishing must be booked in advance by adding a Fishing Pass during the booking process.
✔ Guests must bring their own sterilised rods and equipment. Barbless hooks only and no keepnets are allowed.
✔ All fish must be handled gently and returned safely to the water.
🔒 Carp are microchipped for stock tracking and security.
Please note: All anglers must hold a valid Environment Agency rod licence, available online or from the Post Office, before fishing.
⚠️ Important Fishing Disclaimer:
Our lake is stocked and carefully maintained, but nature can be unpredictable. In rare cases, fish numbers or visibility may be temporarily affected by natural factors such as otter activity.
If fishing conditions are seriously impacted, fishing ticket costs will be refunded.
Accommodation bookings, however, remain non-refundable, as fishing conditions are outside of our control.
Restocking fish, when needed, can only occur during the colder winter months, so occasional seasonal fluctuations may happen.
